About Dr. Carolyn Wood

Chiropractic care has been a regular part of my life for as long as I can remember.  My father, Dr Ken Wood was an amazing chiropractor who helped thousands of patients with his chiropractic adjustments.  This regular chiropractic care has assisted me in being pain-free, healthy and full of energy.

I’ve had the privileged of providing chiropractic care for over 30 years.  I have a keen interest in the principles of chiropractic for both the young and the old.  I am still excited every day to help people get their life back, allowing them to do the things they love to do and thriving with healthy spines and nervous systems.

Outside the Office:
When I’m not caring for patients or looking after the team and office at the Clinton Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, I enjoy being outdoors in nature hiking, sailing, music and travelling.  I’ve also had the privilege of serving in various capacities within our chiropractic regulatory body.

My husband Joe and I have three wonderful children that we are very proud of. Mark manages a company out of Hamilton, Christina is a dentist in London & Kate is completing her Masters in Architecture.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you and your family thrive!

Dr. Sam Clark

Dr. Sam grew up in Mitchell, Ontario, and spent many years playing a variety of sports such as ringette, hockey, basketball, baseball and soccer in Huron- Perth and beyond. She played both ringette and basketball at a provincial level. She loved growing up in a small town and close-knit community. Dr. Sam’s first experience with chiropractic care was to help her recovery from an ankle injury, and found that chiropractic treatment was what got her back on the ice and the court, and able to compete at an elite level. Dr. Sam has since used chiropractic care and believes in its role to maintain health and wellness.

Dr. Sam attended the University of Waterloo where she completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology degree, and also completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

In her spare time, Dr. Sam enjoys going on hikes and being in nature, breaking a sweat at the gym, being curled up with a good book, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Sam values community and is looking forward to giving back to the area where she was raised.

Dr. Sam offers the following techniques when treating patients, and will customize a unique treatment plan for each patient:

  • manual therapy (adjusting and myofascial release)
  • Functional Integrative Acupuncture
  • Smart Tools (an instrument assisted soft tissue therapy)
  • RockTape basic and performance taping techniques
  • rehabilitation
  • Custom Orthotics

“My goal is to give patients the ability to do the things that they are passionate about- whether this is getting back on the field/court, gardening, or playing with their grandchildren. I want to have a role in helping people to live their lives to their greatest potential and achieve optimal function and well-being!”
